The Autobahn 2 is towards Lehrte (Hanover region) because of a serious accident Berlin fully blocked. Around 11:00 p.m. there were still kilometers of traffic jams and the detours set up were also “overloaded,” said a spokesman for the motorway police. An end was not exactly foreseeable at first.
A driver was seriously injured in the accident. According to the police spokesman, the cause of the accident was initially not known.
The Fire department In the evening, announced that the car had strayed from the road, collided with the guardrail and was then thrown over all three lanes. The engine was therefore torn out of the car by the impact and remained burning on the middle lane. First aiders deleted this before the fire brigade arrived. The man was trapped in the accident and freed by the fire brigade. According to the information, a rescue helicopter was also on site.
