The autopsy report of David Hekili Kenui Bell, actor of Lilo & Stitchrevealed new details about his death on June 12 on the Great Island of Hawaii, at 46. The information was obtained exclusively by People, just over two months after the death of the interpreter.
According to the document issued by the Hawaii Police Department, the autopsy lists four pathological diagnoses among its conclusions: acute respiratory failure, sepsis, hypertensive/atherosclerotic heart disease and morbid obesity. The autopsy, held on June 19 and completed on July 10, also noted that multiple medical interventions were made in resuscitation attempts. According to the toxicological analysis included in the report, no drugs or alcohol were detected above the established limits. The document also indicates that Bell “complained of difficulty breathing” before dying. However, the autopsy does not establish a definitive cause or way of death, cataloging it as a “forensic case.”
